Bring your ideas and experience to provide the Finance organization, the Program Management organization, and the Manufacturing organization the information and the data necessary to control and manage Cost and Schedule on assigned programs. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the Manufacturing EVM system on assigned programs and ensures that all EVM guidelines, processes, and procedures are followed within manufacturing EVMS. You will analyze program scope for baseline and EAC input and adjustment as well as analyze manufacturing performance trends for EAC calculations and corrective action recommendations. In this role you will provide cost trend data and analysis to the Finance organization for incorporation into profit calculations and rate calculations. You will also formulate manpower plans that ensure the efficient and timely performance of program cost and schedule goals. Part of this role is to identify risk areas and facilitate corrective action. You will serve as liaison with cross functional groups to ensure the timely and accurate completion of program goals and objectives.

What you’ll be doing as a Staff Industrial Engineer
- Provide contract performance and cost reporting to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) criteria for assigned contracts. This includes applying appropriate project management and scheduling techniques to assigned projects, spreading and maintaining contract budgets, providing analysis, investigating variances, and developing EACs.
- Formulate manning plans on assigned programs.
- Ensure manufacturing EVM system is maintained on assigned projects.
- Analyze program baseline requirements for scope and/or schedule changes.
- Subject matter expert on Manufacturing EVMS questions and issues.
- Develop appropriate program metrics that communicate to manufacturing and PM, the manufacturing program performance.
- Supports customer audits and reviews.
- Working knowledge of scheduling, program management and cost schedule integration techniques.
- Results driven with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, able to work well in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to extract and prepare data analysis as required to support program reporting criteria.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or Management, or (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, or related business field.
- 5 years in Production, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering related activities, Finance, Accounting, or Program Management.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office (such as Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, SQL) and SAP.
- 2 years of direct Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting experience under government contracts in compliance with DOD guidelines preferred.
- 2 years direct experience in developing budgets, preparing variance analysis, estimates to complete, cost performance reports, and cost schedule status reports in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment preferred.
- Industrial Engineering (IE) experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
