What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager in Training position at BELL MANAGEMENT?
Bell Management is looking to hire a property manager in training. This position will begin as an assistant manager role with the goal of becoming a property manager within 6 months.
A property manager's duties include:
- Maintaining property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises.
- Attracting tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
- Contracting with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits.
- Accomplishing financial objectives by collecting rent and fees.
- Maintaining property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping and snow removal services
- Maintaining building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs.
- Enforcing occupancy policies and procedures by confronting violators.
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Managing maintenance staff.
- Managing maintenance expenses closely.
Must pass a criminal background check and have reliable transportation.
Experience in customer service and a leadership role/upper management are required.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
