Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Developer to join our team, responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales of custom homes. The Business Developer will focus on promoting our Build on Your Lot (BOYL) program and guiding clients through the process of designing and constructing their dream homes.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in real estate and construction, particularly in luxury custom homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Sales:
- Identify and engage potential clients who are interested in custom home construction.
- Introduce prospective clients to the BOYL program, emphasizing its benefits and unique offerings.
- Manage sales pipelines for 10–12 projects annually, with each project valued between $1.2M and $1.5M.
- Guide clients through the home design and construction process, working closely with the design team and project managers.
- Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, property owners, and other partners.
- Represent Bella Home Construction at industry events, networking functions, and meetings with potential clients.
- Client Consultation:
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client desires and match them with appropriate solutions.
- Provide expert advice on custom home design, materials, and construction processes.
- Negotiation & Contract Management:
- Negotiate contract terms and finalize agreements with clients.
- Work with the project management team to ensure smooth project transitions post-sale.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in real estate or construction sales, ideally with a focus on luxury homes or custom-built projects.
- Strong knowledge of the home building process, particularly custom construction and design.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a focus on high-value clients.
- Experience working with BOYL programs or similar models is a plus.
Compensation:
- Commission: 1% of each project sold, with expected annual sales of 10–12 projects, each valued between $1.2M and $1.5M.
- Estimated Commission: $120,000 – $180,000, depending on the total sales value.
- Total Compensation: $120,000 – $180,000 (commission-based, with no base salary).
