Rig Hand

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Rig Hand to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various operations on the oil rig, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times. This role requires mechanical knowledge, and adherence to OSHA regulations. If you have any questions, please call our office at 661-393-6995. Duties

• Assist in the setup and dismantling of drilling rigs and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to execute drilling operations effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area on the rig.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to oil rig operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work long hours in challenging outdoor conditions.
• Valid commercial driving license is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety practices.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to oil rig operations and maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 58 per week
