Duties and Responsibilities for Activities Aide :
- Works under the Life Enrichment Coordinator and the Administrator.
- Implements a varied program of activities for residents.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs, interests, and abilities of the residents.
- Maintains a log regarding communication with residents' families or other responsible individuals, as well as with medical and professional personnel creating a record of residents' progress and participation in activities.
- Develops and maintains contact with volunteers and coordinates their presence at facility activities.
- Handles all incoming and outgoing mail directly related to residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
