The ideal candidate has the ability to wear many hats… help leading the team throughout the day, working the front desk making reservations, answering phone calls and emails, daily reporting, making sure that all campground facilities are opened/closed, assisting guests in parking their campers, helping host fun events/activities, trash pickup, constant ongoing customer interaction, housekeeping as needed, delivering ice and firewood to campsites, light campground maintenance, daily inspections of all campsites and facilities, light landscaping....and most importantly – making sure that each individual guest has an amazing time!! This is a very fast-paced environment where there is always something to do and always a way to contribute. You must enjoy working with others and always strive to be a contributing member of the team!
*** Please Note: This is not a "work-camper" position. We are not offering lodging/campsite accommodations. Candidates must live locally and be able to commute to the job site. ***
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help oversee the daily operations of the camp, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Maintain daily, weekly and monthly records of campground reports.
- Welcome and assist guests at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service.
- Utilize office computer systems: reservation software, google mail, Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate guest activities and events to enhance the guest's overall experience.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Help maintain the campground by assisting landscaping teams and maintenance personnel as needed.
- Ensure that all daily administrative tasks have been properly addressed and completed.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized camp environment for guests.
- This is not a total list of what is required of the position. This position requires a candidate to be flexible enough to adapt to the needs of the immediate situation.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in front desk operations and hotel environments
- Proficient in handling multi-line phone systems and effective phone etiquette
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles
- Ability to manage guest relations and provide exceptional hospitality
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for reporting and data management
- Leadership experience in a hospitality setting is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
