Hours : 7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am
Salary : $100,000 annually Benefits
Summary
This position supports a leading innovator in sustainable food packaging by overseeing overnight (7p–7a) thermoforming production operations. The supervisor guides a team of hourly associates, maintaining strict safety, quality, and compliance standards in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment. Key responsibilities include mentoring staff, optimizing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement. Through clear communication, swift problem-solving, and a focus on results, this role ensures a positive night-shift culture and consistent delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly (7p–7a) production operations to meet quality, efficiency, and output targets in a thermoforming environment
- Lead, mentor, and train hourly team members, ensuring adherence to policies, SOPs, and GMPs
- Conduct performance evaluations, address issues promptly, and maintain a positive, inclusive team environment
- Allocate labor, materials, and equipment based on production schedules, adjusting to minimize downtime throughout the night shift
- Monitor product quality and compliance with regulatory standards (SQF / ISO), taking corrective action if needed
- Enforce safety protocols and proper PPE usage (ear, eye protection, hairnet, boots) in a loud, non-climate-controlled environment
- Identify areas for improvement, implement solutions to enhance productivity and cost effectiveness, and collaborate cross-functionally
- Maintain accurate records, communicate progress and challenges to management, and ensure deadlines are met
