The IT Intern works directly with all functions of the IT department to support the team and become an expert in the field. Job Details : What you'll do :
- Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings
- Gain exposure to the day to day functions and strategy of the IT department including helpdesk support, project management, software development, Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, Scrum, AWS, network engineering, cloud engineering, system engineering, and IT security
- Build relationships, make connections and network with professionals and your peers
- Share creative ideas that will help improve our business
- Assist in creating reports, analyze metrics and summarize information
- Assist in creating materials and / or presentations
- Send out communications, respond to phone calls / e-mails and overall provide support to Belle Tire retail locations
- Complete a IT related project and present final product to senior leadership Requirements :
- Currently pursuing a degree in IT or related field
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
