POSITION SUMMARY : Piramal Pharma Solutions' Riverview facility (Ash Stevens, LLC) is seeking a qualified IT Intern to join our Information Technology team. The incumbent will be providing user support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms. Support the IT Administrator and users in supporting the stable operation of ASI computer systems as requested. The will be working on various IT projects.

- Identify and protect the original technical information as part of the company property.
Key responsibilities.
Assist in deployment, monitoring, maintenance, data backup, documentation, upgrade, and support of all IT systems.Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end use workstation hardware, software, peripheral devices, and network components.Document helpdesk tickets and resolutions.Document IT processes, user guides, and technical reports.Provide support for IT projects, such as system upgrades and migrations.Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and support as needed.Provide technical support for e-mail, network, connectivity, telecommunications, peripheral equipment, and set up computers and install software. This includes end user phone support, active directory, remote access, and knowledge of VPN.Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of IT issues for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware and software solutions.Apply software patches / upgrades and respond to user requests as necessary.Practice server workstation asset management, including maintenance of network components inventory and IT security standards.Prepare and ensure accuracy of documentation and follow standard operating procedures.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.IT certifications are a plusWorking technical knowledge of network, servers, and current PC operating systems.Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, standards.Experience with Microsoft Active Directory administration, VMware, network troubleshooting and providing printer support.job competencies.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.Hands-on and advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and directed; strict attention to detail.Able to multi-task and meet demands of customers; meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.Follow GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.Willing to work off-shift times, as necessary, to complete projects.Willing to work on-call rotationjob conditions.

Long periods of standing and walking can be expected in this position.This position may require long periods of sitting, typing, computer entry or looking at a computer.Work Environment :Piramal Pharma Solutions is engaged in the business of pharmaceutical research and contract pharmaceutical manufacturing. As such, all PPS staff work in or nearby either chemical / pharmaceutical research or chemical / pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
