The Purchasing Intern works directly with all functions of the Purchasing department to support the team and become an expert in the field.
Job Details : What you'll do :
- Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings
- Gain exposure to the day to day functions and strategy of the Purchasing department
- Build relationships, make connections and network with professionals and your peers
- Share creative ideas that will help improve our business
- Assist in creating reports, analyze metrics and summarize information
- Assist in creating materials and / or presentations
- Send out communications, respond to phone calls / e-mails and overall provide support to Belle Tire retail locations
- Complete a purchasing related project and present final product to senior leadership
