Preschool Teacher

Job Summary:
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters the intellectual, emotional, and social development of young children (ages 18 months-5). The role requires creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while promoting early learning through structured activities and hands-on experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Create and maintain daily schedules, routines, and activities.
• Observe and assess the developmental progress of each child, providing feedback to parents or guardians.
• Establish and maintain open communication with parents and caregivers.
• Manage classroom behavior in a constructive and respectful manner.
• Prepare educational materials and set up learning areas.
• Encourage social interaction and teamwork among children.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall goals of the preschool.
• Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
• Ensure that safety and health standards are met at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of early childhood education practices and developmental milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
