- Hours : 40 hours / week Monday-Friday : 8-4 : 30pm
Job Description :
Responsible for resolving denials including but not limited to, medical necessity, timely filing, CCI Edits and provider enrollment using critical thinking, analytical skills, and appropriate decision making to resolve accounts. Applies pertinent policies, protocols, and processes in problem solving but has the ability to respond to unique cases in which clear policy and procedures are not always established. Maintains a thorough knowledge of carrier policies, direct contracts, subscriber benefits, non-covered services, coding, diagnosis issues, and accounts receivable. In addition to drafting appeals, must be able to identify denial trends and determining root cause. A high degree of professionalism and accuracy regarding written and verbal communication between internal and external customers is expected.Qualifications :
High school diploma and Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, health care business administration, or medical-related field preferred.Minimum of one to two years insurance / medical billing office experience or an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a business or medical related field required.Why Bellin Health :
