As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a General Manager in Training.
Job Description:
As a General Manager in Training, you will work closely with the management team to learn and develop the skills necessary to effectively oversee the daily operations of the restaurant. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of restaurant management, including customer service, staff supervision, inventory management, financial reporting, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Supervise and train staff members, promoting a positive and productive work environment
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies
- Assist in financial reporting, including cash handling and sales reconciliation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Uphold company policies and standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service
