Bellisio Foods is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone to begin their career or continue gaining experience with an established company.
This role does require the selected individual to be on-site at least four days per week at our corporate headquarters in the North Loop neighborhood in Minneapolis.

Position Information
The Accounts Payable Specialist works as part of a team handling various accounts payable tasks and projects.
The selected individual is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable documents while adhering to departmental and company policies. This position requires familiarity with accounts payable procedures and accounting department practices.
This role requires someone who has strong attention to detail and data entry skills. There is also a need for clear communication and the ability to work as part of a team.
The position reports to the Shared Services Manager.

Job Duties
- Coding and data entry of invoices conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Research received non-invoiced purchase orders and follow-up with vendors and/or purchasing department
- Handle all vendor correspondence via email
- Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
- Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
- Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Other duties as required
- 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong Microsoft Excel and 10-key skills
- The ability to work on-site 4 days per week
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- SAP software experience preferred
- Strong communication skills

Salary : $22 - $27
