Description
Enterprise Application Analyst
Purpose
The Enterprise Applications Analyst will assist the IT Team in the development of the organization’s enterprise business application systems. These include but not limited to 2020 Insight, Portal, Online Catalog, Sage and other plant accountability applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and problem resolution related to business application software systems and provide solutions to solve applications problems.
- Monitor the functionality of new software applications to ensure their compatibility with the existing software and infrastructure
- Suggest applications that could improve business operations and assist in testing them.
- Assist with software releases and updates including testing of software updates, release notes and training materials and roll out communications to business and IT teams.
- Collaborate with IT teams in support of projects and operational initiatives
- Assist in the development of documentation related to design, configuration, processes/workflow, integration/interface requirements and training.
- Perform troubleshooting of technical issues related to application functionality. Track and follow issues through to resolution, including communications to business partners.
- Learn our enterprise business applications, including understanding their interrelationship and dependencies.
Key Relationships
- Relationships at all levels from office staff, factory support staff, executives and external consultants.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer related degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work multiple tasks at a time while providing excellent customer service and support
- Critical thinking and good trouble shooting skills.
- Active listening with a positive and optimistic approach to problem-solving.
- Office environment, able to work on computer or phone for long periods of time with flexibility in working hours
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Interest and ability to learn new business applications and related capabilities as required.
- Ability to learn software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Ability to learn relational databases and SQL Querying.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing and cloud-based application services.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical staff.
- Minimum 2-5 years related experience in production focused on construction of cabinets.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
