Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Application Analyst to join our team. The Application Analyst is responsible for creating, supporting, documenting, and analyzing business processes, application technical components, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. In addition, the candidate also has the responsibility of liaising between IT teams and business stakeholders to create solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, detail oriented, and a strong understanding of technical and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
Support applications such as TMT fleet application, imaging systems, data integration, Smart Connect, Fresh Service, and other related applications.
Create technical and support documentation for tier 1 help desk.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience as Applications Analyst or in a related role.
Skills
Strong working knowledge of integration protocols such as FTP/SFTP
Proficient in Microsoft SQL database and servers, Azure, M365, and Sharepoint.
Ability to develop scripts to automate file integration with external partners.
Skilled in application configuration and collaborating with vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
