Summary :
The Senior Asset Manager works with all Asset Management team members as well as borrowers, lenders, local, state, and Federal government agencies to preserve the value of the multifamily housing by collateralizing those mortgage loans
Major Responsibilities :
- Monitor and track receipt of monthly / quarterly financials based on the lender's requirements.
- Confirm all documentation is filed appropriately and tracking logs are updated.
- Identify properties requiring a property inspection or interim PCA at least monthly and engage third-party vendors through competitive bidding and negotiate contract terms.
- Analyze and report on financial performance for an assigned portfolio of loans.
- Ensure (i) all documentation is saved in each Property Servicing File, and (ii) all reports are submitted to Fannie Mae on a timely basis.
- Perform ongoing asset management and surveillance activities to identify, monitor, rate, and mitigate the financial, credit, operational, physical, ownership, and market risks impacting the multifamily properties collateralizing the portfolio, as assigned.
- Coordinate ad hoc Borrower communications.
- Coordinate data quality control with all Asset Managers.
- Coordinate financial and inspection submissions for all TEAM loans.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit on annual reporting and compliance.
- Assist with systems development and process improvement efforts.
