Belmont currently has an opening for a full-time therapist for our adult partial outpatient program. The Primary Therapist will report to the Chief Clinical Officer and will diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective or behavioral.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Belmont Behavioral Hospital currently has an opening for a Full time, Master's level trained Social Worker / Therapist (MSW / LSW / LPC) Psychotherapist, in Outpatient Services, with a focus on serving clients within the adult partial hospitalization (PHP) level of care.
The Psychotherapist functions as the primary therapist for the Adult PHP providing ongoing treatment to a caseload of patients. The Psychotherapist will provide one-to-one psychotherapy as well as facilitate group therapy sessions. This Psychotherapist will complete the required documentation including progress notes and treatment plans on each patient. The position works as a part of the multidisciplinary team that supports the needs of our patients. This position works under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer and may also require providing service to all levels of care in our Outpatient Services. There will may be opportunities to gain training and experience in evidence based practices for children, adolescents, and adults including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
- Four or more years' experience as a therapist with two or more years' experience with the specific population of the facility is required.
