Position Summary :
The Director of College Credit Plus (CCP) oversees the application, admission, enrollment, and advising processes for all prospective, current, and returning CCP students. Advising includes course selection, prerequisite requirements and degree offerings in person, over the phone, by e-mail, or other delivery formats as needed. The CCP Program Manager also promotes the CCP program and works to develop new high school partnerships.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Oversees the application, admission, enrollment, and advising processes for all prospective, current, and returning CCP students; Aids students through the advising process, including course selection, prerequisite requirements, and degree offerings;
- Visits partnership high schools to connect with guidance counselors and students as needed or assigned by supervisor providing proactive outreach, service and support of high school-based CCP students;
- Presents information to college constituents regarding CCP, as well as to school districts to recruit CCP students and obtain CCP partnerships between the school districts and the College; Promotes and develop new CCP partnerships;
- Maintains internal and external information and reporting systems to support and facilitate the operations of the CCP program
- Works collaboratively with other College constituents to ensure the CCP program is running smoothly and establishing new pathways (curriculum development);
- Develops and maintains the College Credit Plus (CCP) master course schedule for each academic term, ensuring accuracy and alignment with institutional requirements.
- Serves as point of contact for high school administrators for the CCP program;
- Collaborates with the College's institutional reporting team to ensure state reporting requirements for the CCP Program are met per legislative mandate; Collects and maintains student contact information for reporting
- Organizes and runs the CCP orientation for new students;
- Assists the Student Affairs team with other tasks as needed;
- Anticipates and meets all stakeholder needs accurately, professionally, and with a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Exhibits skills and attitudes that reflect good customer service;
- Works with the AVP to ensures the College Credit Plus (CCP) program adheres to all compliance requirements and regulatory standards;
- May provide functional supervision to additional staff;
- May create and update content for web resources on the College's site specific to College Credit Plus
