What You’ll Do as an Assistant Pastry Chef:
Create Sweet Masterpieces
Assist in crafting a variety of delectable pastries and desserts, ensuring every treat is a work of art that delights our guests. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine in every bite.
Collaborate in the Kitchen: Work hand-in-hand with the Head Pastry Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth operations, from prep work to plating. Your teamwork will help create a positive and productive kitchen environment.
Maintain Culinary Excellence: Uphold the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization in the pastry station. Your dedication to consistency will help deliver exceptional results every day.
Delight Guests with Memorable Experiences: Help create desserts that not only taste amazing but also enhance special celebrations and everyday visits to Belmont Park. Your efforts will add to the magic of our beachfront destination.

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous pastry or culinary experience
- Flexibility to work part-time, including weekends and holidays.

Skills/Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Pastry Chef
- 2 years’ experience working in a high-volume restaurant or theme park.
- Knowledge of food recipes.
- Knowledge of food recipe development
- Knowledge of proper food handling requirements.
- Skilled in organization and planning.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment as well as to work the line during service periods.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors and guests.
Expected Hours of Work
- Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on park needs.
