As the Procurement Expeditor Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, goods, and services required for our projects. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, and a strong ability to track and coordinate procurement activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Your Typical Responsibilities
- Order Monitoring: Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Work closely with Procurement Buyers to anticipate project completion and work out installation schedule.
- Supplier Coordination: Maintain regular communication with suppliers to address delays, shortages, or changes to delivery schedules.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues related to procurement delays, quality discrepancies, or incomplete orders.
- Documentation Management: Ensure all purchase orders, receipts, and supplier communications are accurately documented and filed. Identify installation dates to identify life cycles and potential replacement time lines for end of life projections.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on procurement status, including lead times, pending deliveries, and order issues, to the procurement team and project managers.
- Inventory Support: Work closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure delivered items match order specifications.
- Compliance Assurance: Verify that suppliers meet contractual obligations and adhere to company policies and industry standards.
- Special Projects: Work closely with Procurement Team to collect and analyze data on supplier pricing and alternate vendor sourcing as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required in relevant field; Procurement major preferred
- 1 to 2 years of prior related work experience preferred
- Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Yardi and Excel experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve procurement challenges.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- High level of accuracy in tracking orders and verifying documentation.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the business
