In this new role, you will:

• Be responsible for performing duties related to scheduling and pre-registration for upcoming services and assuring a positive experience for the patient
• Obtain pertinent information from patients, other care providers and health records to determine that orthopedic visits are scheduled timely and with an appropriate provider.
• Interpret medical records and conduct focused patient interviewing that would customarily be performed by someone with nursing or medical assistant or above skillset

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as Nursing or Medical Assistant, or its equivalent
• Certification as Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or Specialist (CRCS) within one year or at time of placement in position
• A minimum four years ' experience in health care setting or its equivalent

Preferred:

• At least two years of scheduling, patient accounts, unit clerk , or medical assistant experience
• Clinical , Surgical and Medical Diagnostic scheduling experience
