Job Summary
The Payroll Clerk will manage and process payroll for all employees across the BeLoved Companies. The Payroll Clerk will work directly with the HRIS system to ensure accurate and timely payroll; maintaining payroll records, complying with state and federal payroll regulations, and ensuring all reoccurring payments are on track.

General:

- Ensures all regulatory standards for State, Federal and CHAP are met.
- Assumes responsibility for on-going personal development and continuing education.
- Completes monthly and annual trainings as assigned by the Governing Board, Director of Human Resources and/or Administrator.
- Creates opportunities for new referrals and referral relationships when representing the company in the community.
- Supports the philosophy, objectives and mission of BeLoved Healthcare.
- Stays current with all mandatory agency requirements.
- Attire to be consistent with the BeLoved Healthcare dress code policy.

Qualifications and Experience
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
- Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3 years of experience of payroll processing, preferably in a multi-site environment
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as QuickBooks, TRAXPayroll, Paychex, Paycom, or similar
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience and familiarity with Oregon wage and labor laws and multi-state payroll processing.
