User Interface Developer

Belt Power LLC is a full service distributor and fabricator specializing in the fulfillment of conveyor system requirements for the processing, manufacturing, and material handling industry. Our product line ranges from all types of conveyor belting, conveying equipment and components, belting accessories, hose and fitting products, plastics, gasket, and power transmission products.

Job Summary:

The User Interface Developer at Belt Power, LLC. will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for websites, software applications, and mobile apps.

Responsibilities Includes:

  • Create and implement web design and development plans.
  • Work closely with UX designers and developers to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Build responsive web interfaces and interactive web applications.
  • Convert design files into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
  • Design test cases and perform usability testing and fix any bugs.
  • Ensure all elements of the user interface are accessible and easy to use.
  • Maintain and improve the company’s website, including updates and redesigns.
  • Ability to gather, create, and interpret user and system requirements by working with management and end-users.
  • Document UI guidelines and templates for reuse and consistency.
  • Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations; maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Always represent Belt Power in a professional manner
  • Required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or work related experience.
  • Two years of experience as User Interface Developer or engineer preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in C# and other related software languages.
  • Proficient in the following platforms:
    • Vue.js Framework
    • PHP
    • WordPress
    • ASP.NET MVC Framework

Physical Demands:

The User Interface Developer may lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls. Tools, and other items used to make adjustments and/or minor maintenance. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, installs, position, move items, and manipulate other objects. Could be in a sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the User Interface Developer will be regularly exposed to working near moving and mechanical parts and equipment. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position in office, shop, and at the customer site. Typical workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Frequent travel, overnight, overtime hours, and weekend work may be required.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
