Job Responsibilities
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Belton Regional Medical Center, you will work in our 80 bed acute care facility. Your key responsibilities will include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician, including:
- Administering medical gases
- Providing aerosol therapy
- Collecting and analyzing blood specimens
- Conducting patient testing
- Maintaining respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment
- Delivering mechanical ventilation
- Managing artificial airways
- Assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Providing education and support to patients
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution
- A current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state
