Beltrami County is creating an eligibility list for a full-time, benefited Support Enforcement Aide to work in our Child Support Office. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting a team of two Child Support Specialists. Performs intermediate skilled administrative work supporting intake and location in the initiation of child support enforcement and establishment of child support enforcement orders; monitoring orders, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Economic Assistance Program Manager - Child Support.
Hiring salary range is $22.54 to $24.62 per hour with a full range of $22.54 to $28.54 per hour.Education and Experience

General knowledge of child support programs and procedures; general knowledge of the principles and practices of public social service organizations; skill in verbal communication; ability to analyze facts and exercise sound judgment in arriving at conclusions; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, orally and in writing; ability to prepare clear and concise reports; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates, legal and court professionals and the general public.
Physical Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of work experience working with an agency or business providing client/customer benefits or services.
- Valid driver's license.
Essential Functions
- Reviews and processes intake referrals; verifies that information is complete and accurate.
- Attempts to locate absent parents through telephone contacts and various information system resources.
- Contacts employers to implement and monitor income withholding and medical support enforcement orders.
- Explains procedures and policies to clients and responds to inquiries from employers, attorneys and outside government agencies.
- Maintains and monitors case records with child support staff; keeps contact, employment, insurance and related information current; tracks individual cases manually when requested by staff.
- Attends required training on new policies, procedures and technology updates.
