SCOPE AND GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you have a passion for weddings & events? We are looking for a highly energetic and enthusiastic person to be a part of a select team focused on servicing and providing dedicated attention to our Weddings & Events. The day-of coordinator supports the Wedding Event Coordinator & Operations Team to coordinate and execute events. The day-of coordinator works in collaboration with the event vendors, event planning team, culinary team and service team to ensure guest satisfaction throughout the event. This is a critical role in being a liaison between key players involved in making the event come together while maintaining interactions with all Belvedere & Co Event Clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Ability to read and follow banquet event orders, event planning packets and diagrams to ensure every detail as discussed during the planning process is brought to life on the day of *Provide personalized service and excellent hospitality to the wedding couple, their families, and their guests *Coordinate the ceremony rehearsal prior to the wedding and execute the ceremony with the officiant and musicians on the day of *Welcome our couples, bridal party and families on the day of, assist with greeting guests as they arrive when able *Coordinate and oversee the event timeline during the event providing updates to service teams & vendors *Oversee vendor load in, setup & tear down *Assist with personal items placement & personal item check out at the end of the evening *Communicate client special requests to banquet captain, Director of Operations as needed *Assist with any additional setup needs and teardown needs for events *Provide personalized food and beverage service to the wedding couple throughout the evening *Attend to the private wedding parlor for the couple and bridal party
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*Must be available on Saturday’s and weekends *Must have excellent customer service skills, strong communication and the ability to multitask and be courteous to all guests attending events *Be friendly, smile, be personable and have a positive attitude during all events *Remain calm under pressure and make decisions with maturity and sound judgment *Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to handle a fast-pace environment *Must be able to work the duration of the event with limited breaks in between - typical event being 8-10 hours with setup and breakdown included *Must have reliable transportation *Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
