Optometry Assistant

We are a well established optometry clinic in the Atlanta/Decatur area seeking an additional Optical Technician to join our team!

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients
• Eyewear sales and frame selection
• Frame styling with patients
• Spectacle measurements
• Eyewear dispensing and orders
• Eyewear adjustments and repairs
• Contact lens ordering
• Insurance verification and calculation of co-pays and eyewear allowances
• Re-stocking frame selections

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Multitasking skills

• Being a team player
• Highly motivated and personable
• Detail oriented and willing to learn
• General knowledge of eyewear prescriptions and terminology
• Optometric office and/or optical experience is preferred

*Additional training will be provided for office procedures and other areas that may be needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
