Description:
The Camp Horizon Coordinator is responsible for implementing and overseeing the daily activities
of the Camp Horizon program (summer day camp.) The Coordinator will work closely with the Recreation Supervisor with the organization, planning and administration of Camp Horizon.
Classification: Seasonal, Full-time.
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week. The program runs from approximately end of May through mid-August. Camp Hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Scheduled work hours will vary. A schedule will be provided. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Direct experience working with special populations.
Flexibility, enthusiasm and a genuine interest to work with individuals who have disabilities.
Dependable, prompt and punctual.
Transport participants in district vehicles.
May be required to lift 20 pounds and up to 150 with assistance.
Medic First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (or equivalent) is required within 30 days of employment. If you are not already certified, training will be provided.
CPI Certified or ability to obtain. Training will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.15 - $19.13 per hour
