Job Summary: The Camp/Club Horizon Counselor is responsible for working "hands on" with all participants in Camp Horizon (summer day camp) and
Club Horizon (after school program). This position will assist with the creating, implementing and supervising of the daily activities of the
Camp/Club Horizon program.
Classification: Seasonal
Hours: Up to 140 hours per week.
Camp Horizon runs from approximately the end of May to mid August and the program hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hours may vary. Some weekend and night hours will be required.
Pay Scale: Starting salary $15.00
Requirements:
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Direct experience working with children, program planning and behavior management preferred.
Flexibility, enthusiasm and a genuine interest to work with individuals who have disabilities.
Medic First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (or equivalent) is required within 30 days of employment. If you are not already certified, training will be provided.
CPI Certified or ability to obtain. Training will be provided.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.43 per hour
