- Professional Educator License with Bilingual Education endorsement or related certification.
- Valid General Administrative endorsement.
- Prior experience in an administrative or leadership position in bilingual education.

- Oversee curriculum and program planning for bilingual education, ensuring fidelity of implementation.
- Coordinate and deliver professional development for teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators.
- Update and monitor procedures for the evaluation, placement, and annual review of bilingual students.
- Collaborate with building administrators to implement consistent management practices aligned with district policies and staffing allocations.
- Monitor student enrollment ensuring appropriate programming, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate language proficiency assessments and ensure appropriate accommodations for bilingual students in all testing scenarios.
- Assist building administration with the coordination of bilingual students' schedules and/or services.
- Communication with the Director of Bilingual Education regarding staffing and student impacts on cultural, social, and educational programming.
- Assist building administration with bilingual-level events, i.e. school assemblies, family nights, or student/community resources.
- Stay informed of research and emerging practices in bilingual education.
- Support the evaluation of bilingual education staff in collaboration with building administrators.
- Facilitate transition planning and meetings, such as middle to high school transitions, ensuring a smooth process for bilingual students.
- Participate in staffing projections and resource planning based on enrollment trends and program needs.
- Work with external agencies to support bilingual students’ post-secondary transitions and opportunities
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
