Job Description:
The Production Specialist is responsible for cutting, building, and assembling the BeMatrix product line. Will include basic and advanced assembly techniques including use of basic hand tools and more advanced machines.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties
- Assemble proprietary systems from aluminum extrusion to saleable assemblies
- Cut, saw, and drill aluminum components as required
- Able to hold tight tolerances
- Maintain clean and organized work area and machines as well as assist warehouse cleaning and organizing
- Awareness of inventory management with ability to count and track components
- Apply Velcro to framing system
- Stack, pack, label and assist with shipping completed projects
- Check and record completed projects for quality expectations met or exceeded
- Perform any and all additional work as assigned by company
- Provide accurate information and reports as needed by supervisor/team leader
- Perform adequate preventative maintenance and general cleaning on company owned tools and machines as necessary
- Perform any and all additional work as assigned by company
QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift certified
- 1 year of warehouse material handling experience
- Ability to bend, climb, stand, walk, turn and pivot for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to shoulder height up to 50lbs. without assistance
- Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
- Able to work with all levels of staff
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to conduct self-according to beMatrix’s operating values, which include operating with honesty and integrity, and in a spirit of teamwork and respect
- Monday to Friday: Hours 7:00am-4:00pm with OT as needed
