This is a full time position to begin with the 2025-2026 school year. This will be achieved through the design and delivery of counseling that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners. In addition, you will be responsible for building positive relationships and working collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manages student registration processes; registers students and provides orientation regarding procedures and expectations; creates and adjusts student class schedules.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, career, and personal / social issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement strategies to support students' educational and personal goals.
- Assist students in developing academic and career plans, including college and career readiness activities.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
