Summary :
This position provides administrative support for the Corporate Accounting Team in St Louis MO.
Responsibilities :
- Financial reporting : Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Project accounting : Assist in the tracking and reporting of project costs, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Cost analysis : Analyze project costs and variances to budget, providing insights to management to support decision-making.
- General ledger maintenance : Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Month-end close : Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations .
- Financial analysis : Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Tax compliance : Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities, including gathering documentation and supporting schedules.
