Maintains the "Peace, love and ice cream" culture at all times (greets customers, offers samples, demonstrates store pride, etc)
- Follows all applicable food safety rules, (including dress code and food storage rules)
- Use of POS system/ basic cash handling
- Available late summer nights (past 11pm) and weekends (some holidays)
- Must be watchful and controlling with labor and cost of goods matrix this is vital
- Has to be accountable for driving sales up and keeping costs down
- Manage daily catering operations from our Providence scoop shop, ensuring success and growth.
- Bring fresh, creative ideas to grow the business and work independently or as part of a team.
- Ensure staff is properly trained on customer service, cleanliness, and operations.
- Prep for events and attend to ensure smooth execution and quality service.
- Foster a positive work environment, encouraging growth and advancement opportunities.
- Oversee catering policies, equipment, and staff presentation, ensuring high standards.
- Be ready to work outdoors and lift or move objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Work under the District Manager & Scoop Shop Manager to manage the operations and budget for the shop including sales projections, margin goals, payroll, operating, and occupancy expenses, and inventory requirements
- Manage the shop staff, ranging from 10 to 15 employees
- Manage the training, orientation, and development for all shop employees
- Establish a motivating work environment that actively encourages and supports employee involvement with an eye towards possible job advancement that is aligned with individual goals.
- Supervise the implementation of all shop policies and procedures
- Implement the systems and procedures outlined in our Operating System Manual that will ensure the accuracy of all register, cash and financial transactions
- Manage the procurement and storage of all on-site inventories (ordering and putting away deliveries in a timely manner)
- Adhere the in-store marketing plan & assist with local store marketing as outlined by Shop Manager, District Manager or Franchisee
- Supervise and organize the tasks needed to maintain the overall operations including store & staff appearance, customer service, cleanliness, compliance with all safety and operating standards, merchandising and promotional execution
- Run/Operate a successful cake program including organizing orders, equipment and product, customer communication & preparing/decorating custom and display cakes.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth store operations
- Help respond and handle all customer complaints within the shop
- Ensure the maintenance and safe operation of all equipment within the shop
Salary : $18 - $22
