Job Description
The Sales Agent at Ben Laube Homes is responsible for representing buyers and sellers in real estate transactions, guiding clients through the home-buying and selling process, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role requires strong sales skills, in-depth market knowledge, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Representation & Sales
- Represent buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions.
- Conduct buyer consultations to understand needs, preferences, and budget.
- Negotiate offers, contracts, and contingencies to secure favorable terms for clients.
- Provide market analysis and pricing guidance for both buyers and sellers.
- Guide clients through every step of the transaction, from showings to closing.
Lead Generation & Follow-Up
- Collaborate with the Internal Sales Agent (ISA) to follow up on leads and schedule buyer consultations.
- Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
- Follow up with leads, nurturing relationships to convert prospects into clients.
- Maintain an active pipeline of buyers and sellers using CRM tools (e.g., Follow Up Boss).
Transaction Management & Compliance
- Work closely with the Transaction Coordinator to ensure a smooth closing process.
- Ensure compliance with state and brokerage regulations.
- Stay up to date with real estate laws, market conditions, and best practices.
Office Presence & Work Schedule
- Required to be in the office from Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM unless actively showing homes or
meeting clients.
- If weekend or evening work is required, schedule adjustments can be made with approval from the
Sales Director.
- Must adhere to a structured schedule, ensuring productivity and availability for lead follow-up and
team collaboration.
Marketing & Client Engagement
- Host open houses and participate in community networking events.
- Leverage social media and digital marketing tools to promote listings and build a personal brand.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships and referrals.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Real Estate License Required.
- Prior experience in real estate sales or a customer-facing sales role preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MLS platforms, and marketing software.
- Reliable transportation for property showings and client meetings.
Compensation & Incentives
- Base Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 (depending on experience)
