Loader/Overhead Crane Operator

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Loader/Overhead Crane Operator at Ben's Structural Fabrication in Waite Park, MN.

This is an hourly position with a pay range of $23.00 - $26.00.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading paint booths, ensuring material flow, and properly labeling pieces for shipment.

They will also assist the paint booth by handling an overhead crane and provide backup coverage as needed.

• Loading and unloading paint booths to maintain constant material flow
• Loading all finished pieces safely and securely for travel to work sites
• Reading packing slips to ensure proper bolts and pieces are on the correct truck per job
• Maintaining cleanliness of the work area
• Providing backup coverage for the paint booth

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can regularly lift 80 pounds and stand or be on their feet for the entire shift.

• Previous Overhead Crane & Rigging experience preferred
• Confidence and ability to build loads on trailers with large beams of varying shapes and sizes
• Initiative and self-motivation to coordinate the movement of materials flowing through the paint booth and loading bay areas

Work Schedule

The work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:15pm, with overtime possible on Fridays, 6:00am-3:00pm.
