Due to their continued expansion and client wins, this firm is looking to add a strategic-minded Staff Accounting Analyst to its team reporting directly to the Client Accounting Manager...

In this role, our client needs a professional who has the ability to:

• Run point on interfacing with the leadership of external clients including CEO, COO, CFO, entrepreneurial-minded business owners, as well as VC and PE firm leaders
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of accounting professionals daily to ensure quality of work
• Prepare, review and discuss financials on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis with company leadership
• Perform accounting functions including account reconciliations, journal entries, G/L management, monthly, quarterly and annual close process to include preparing trial balance, balance sheet and P/L Statements
• Assist in annual planning, budgeting, forecasting process, as well as a monthly and quarterly review
• Ability to interact with tax team to ensure client is doing everything possible to limit tax liabilities, while also staying current on tax obligations both at a federal and state/local level.

To succeed in this role, our client is seeking someone who possesses:

• 1 years of overall accounting experience 
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Prior experience in a CPA firm in either an audit or client accounting capacity would be a plus
• Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for solving complex problems
• Top-shelf interpersonal skills with the ability to juggle priorities 
• A mindset that values people, creates an inclusive culture, and understands the value placed on personal time/life and family
• Strong working knowledge/comfort with QBO - Pro Advisor would be a HUGE PLUS!
