What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Treatment Director position at Benchmark Family Services?
Principal Duties / Responsibilities : 1. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the treatment program including review of all client treatment plans, conducting and consulting on therapeutic assessments with Therapeutic Support Specialists / Therapists in formulating treatment plans.2. Provides case management services to placed youth including but not limited to, advocating on behalf of the client and family with social service agencies, court, police, medical, school, and others mental health professionals.3. Provides clinical consultation to foster parents.4. Meets regularly with therapists providing treatment to the youth in the program on a monthly basis at a minimum.5. Must remain accessible to therapists at all times to provide consultation.6. Review any critical incidents, including debriefs with involved staff.7. Complies with paperwork requirements as established by the state, contracts, standards, and licensing as well as Benchmark Family Service Inc.8. Provides crisis stabilization services for Benchmark Family Services, Inc. clients and foster caregivers.9. Conducts case conferences and team meetings.10. May be responsible for completing evaluations of therapists employed by Benchmark Family Services.May provide face to face supervision of therapist at least twice per month if providing supervision to the therapist.11. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate books, journals, and literature and attending in-services, conferences, and workshops.12. Conducts statistical analysis of current market trends, funding source data, clinical trends, length of stay, outcome monitoring, and key referral source admission patterns on an on-going basis.13. Assist the Regional Director or State Program Director in staff supervision, training responsibilities, labor relations, fiscal monitoring, and other related duties.14. Assist with other miscellaneous duties as assigned.Education, Knowledge, Skills : 1. Education – Must meet all requirements of state, licensing and contract expectations.a. KY : At least a Master’s Degree in a human services discipline.2. Experience – Must meet all requirements of state, licensing and contract expectations.a.
