Job Overview
We seek a dynamic and experienced Director of Strategic Market Development for Safety Solutions to lead our growth-oriented efforts in the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) solutions space. In this role, you will serve as a brand and safety solution ambassador, engaging with prospective customers at industry events and webinars to build awareness and generate a pipeline while also helping to shape the strategic product roadmap for our priority and strategic safety offerings.
Responsibilities:
Market-Facing Engagement
- Represent the company as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) space
- Deliver presentations, host webinars, and participate in industry conferences to showcase our safety solutions and thought leadership
- Engage with customers and prospects to understand their EHS challenges and align with our solutions and value proposition
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content and messaging that resonates with the target audience
Product Vision and Strategic Roadmap
- Work closely with the product management team to align safety solution with market demands, customer needs, and organizational priorities
- Provide insights and feedback on product enhancements, new features, and strategic initiatives to enhance the value proposition of our safety solutions
- Serve as a bridge between the market and the product team, translating customer requirements and industry trends into actionable product development priorities
Domain Expertise and Digital Solutions
- Leverage your experience and knowledge in the EHS domain to guide the development and positioning of our safety solutions
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of EHS programs, regulations, and best practices to ensure our solutions address the evolving needs of the market
- Collaborate with the sales and implementation teams to provide subject matter expertise and support the successful adoption of our safety solutions
Strategic Market Development
- Identify strategic and high-growth potential solutions, offerings, and target markets for our safety solutions
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies and plans in collaboration with Marketing & Business Development organization reflective of competitive landscape and opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to execute the GTM strategies and drive pipeline generation and revenue growth
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the EHS industry and Safety and High-Risk Operations space
- Proven expertise in EHS programs, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to translate technical information into business value
- Demonstrated experience in digital solutions, technology, and software within the EHS space
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, industry stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop data-driven insights and recommendations
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across different teams and functions
- Passion for driving growth and innovation in the EHS industry
- Willingness to travel and ability to adjust schedule as needed to support customer and industry engagement activities
