Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician/ Irrigation Technician or Foreman with experience to join our expanding family-owned business that has been here since 1986. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with the ability to perform various tasks related to the landscape industry as well as the opportunity to advance within the company. The position will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes that our clients will love and enjoy.
Job Opportunities
This position may include one or multiple of the Following:
Landscape Construction: Performing the installation of hardscapes, water features, lighting and all other aspects of outdoor living. This position will also provide the ability to become proficient in using heavy machinery.
Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance Crew: Perform regular lawn maintenance including mowing, trimming, seeding, as well as spring and fall cleanup.
Irrigation Technician: Install new irrigation and repair existing systems. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical problems.
Fertilizer Applicator: Perform applications of fertilizers and herbicides using a stand-on Lesco sprayer. A 3.0 Applicator License is required for this position. We will help in getting license if needed.
Snowplow Operator: This position requires motivated individual to clear snow from commercial parking lots as well as residential driveways. Some hand shoveling and salting may be required.
Shoveling Crew Member: This position also requires a motivated individual to help clear residential and commercial sidewalks. They must use various tools such as shovels, snow blowers and salt spreaders.
Requirements
- Available Monday to Friday
- Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required
- The ability to operate various tools and equipment safely
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards are met
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by our provider
- Adhere to the company's handbook and procedures
