We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the accounting team at our middle market company. This position is integral to our company's recent growth trajectory through acquisitions, and we are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is 100% in office.
Responsibilities:
Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable/billing, collections, and budget preparation
Design and implementation of processes and procedures for maximum efficiency.
Ensure completion in all activities for month end close procedures.
Assist Corporate with financial and month end reporting analysis.
Assist with periodic physical inventory counts in coordination with other departments.
Reconciling various accounts such as inventory and investigating variances.
Establishe and maintains local site internal controls in concert with Corporate direction.
Education and Experience:
Accounting or a related business degree
4 years of accounting experience
Manufacturing/Plant Accounting experience required
