In this unique and enriching environment, we offer Independent and Assisted Living apartment homes, as well as a skilled Health Center where we provide our residents with quality care and services.Meadow Ridge is currently seeking a manager to supervise the operations and associates of our Transportation Department. The Transportation Manager will oversee and manage all transportation services within our senior community, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective transportation of residents. This role includes supervising the transportation team, coordinating schedules, and maintaining vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for safety, and a passion for serving the senior community.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Supervision and Team Management:o Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of drivers and transportation staff.o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.o Organize and lead training sessions to ensure staff are well-informed about safety protocols, customer service standards, and vehicle operation.o Schedule and assign daily tasks and routes to the transportation team.
Transportation Coordination:o Develop and implement transportation schedules that meet the needs of residents while optimizing vehicle use.o Coordinate transportation for resident appointments, social activities, and other events, ensuring timely and reliable service.o Handle any special transportation requests or needs from residents and address any issues that arise.
