Psilocybin Facilitator

Bend Inner Alchemy is looking for dedicated Oregon state-certified Psilocybin Facilitators to join our team. We are searching for individuals who are passionate about providing psilocybin experiences to those who are interested in exploring the healing powers of this ancient plant medicine. Individuals must excel in the ability to create a safe and supportive container in which to allow room for the self to unlock the transformative powers that lie within themselves on their journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

We aim to create a dedicated, reliable team of highly respected facilitators not only in the psychedelic community, but also the local community of Central Oregon, specifically Bend.

Responsibilities:

• Client Preparation:
• Conduct thorough pre-session assessments to understand clients' mental and emotional states.
• Provide comprehensive information about the psilocybin experience, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Review all forms required by the Oregon Health Authority.
• Identify clients who do not qualify or are not quite ready to embark on a psilocybin journey.

• Session Facilitation:
• Create a secure and supportive container for the psilocybin experience.
• Monitor the psilocybin experience, ensuring a supportive and transformative setting.
• Foster a trusting and empathetic relationship with clients during the sessions.

• Integration Support:
• Facilitate integration sessions to help clients process and make sense of their experiences.
• Offer guidance on applying insights gained during sessions to daily life.
• Feel comfortable identifying clients who may benefit from further professional services such as counseling or therapy.

• Continued Education:
• Stay updated on the latest research, practices, and ethical considerations in the field.
• Attend workshops, conferences, and training to enhance facilitation skills.
• Ongoing communication and integration with other facilitators for support.

• Ethical and Legal Compliance:
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards surrounding the use of psychedelics including the mandates set forth by the Oregon Health Authority.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the well-being of clients within the container.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Successful completion of a certified psilocybin facilitator program.
• Specialized training in facilitating transformative experiences.
• Current facilitator license maintained through the Oregon Health Authority.

• Experience:
• Proven experience in creating supportive containers for transformative experiences.
• Familiarity with various facilitation approaches and integration techniques.

• Interpersonal Skills:
• Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish a trusting container for exploration.

• Emotional Intelligence:
• High emotional intelligence and empathy.
• Comfort with navigating intense emotional experiences within the container.

• Adaptability:
• Flexibility to adjust facilitation style based on individual client needs.
• Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.

• Legal Compliance:
• Knowledge of local and national laws regarding the use of psychedelics in transformative settings.

• Community Involvement:
• Participate in community outreach and education
• Strive to destigmatize psychedelic experiences and promote responsible use within society.
