Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our growing neurology office. You will play an essential role in ensuring smooth office operations, managing patient appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
- Coordinate patient care by ensuring timely follow-ups, appointments, and communication with healthcare providers.
- Assist with the preparation of medical records, updating patient information, and ensuring confidentiality.
- Verify insurance information and assist with patient billing and payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
- Ensure the smooth flow of daily office operations, including managing patient flow and coordinating with the medical team.
- Assist with filing, faxing, and other general administrative duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure the best patient experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical office training or certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (neurology experience a plus).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
