Project Coordinator
Reports To: Regional Program Manager
Full Job Description
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules (IMS). Coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and critical path issues. Prepares work orders or purchase requests. Achieve Project targets (on time/on budget), through communication with PM, and Ship Superintendents of improvement actions as needed. Ensure and support continuous improvement of deliverables and performance internally and externally through subcontractors. Develop relationships with key stakeholders and stay engaged from start to final sign off. Understand customer needs through direct customer interaction and participation in all aspects of the awarded projects.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Regional Program Manager. Interaction is maintained on a regular basis with Finance, Program Management from Bender CCP Facilities, and Business Development.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
· Experience in an industrial office environment. Ability to utilize and interpret relevant cost and schedule data reports including having a familiarity of scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc.) this position has an emphasis in ship repair but not limited to commercial fabrication and Field Service contracts.
· Excellent communication skills orally and written
· Ability to maintain professional and effective relationships with customers
· Strong Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) (PERT, GANTT, Critical Path Analysis)
· Ability to navigate multiple computer databases to acquire data for processing cost and schedule data and use applicable software associated with these reporting functions
· Excellent Time Management / Multitasking Skills to meet deadlines to efficiently validate, interpret and understand task scheduling or work sequencing
· Ability to work independently with little supervision and take initiative in all aspects of the position duties not limited to working remotely as required. Willingness to work irregular and extended work hours as needed
· Ensure compliance with quality procedures and documents while maintaining OQE is support task completion documentation
· Monitor and validate resource requirements for actuals against planned work in progress
· Maintain daily communication and interaction with the PM/Ship Superintendent to report status and concerns and can initiate and follow through with required variance analyses and associated corrective action plans
· Monitor and ensure compliance with the contract requirements, compliance with regulatory body and classification society guides, rules, and regulations
· Conduct craft meetings and participate in/lead meetings as deemed appropriate by Project Manager
· Ability to identify the critical path and analyze trends to resolve current and future schedule conflicts. Creates performance standards and performs detailed schedule analyses and what-if analyses
LIAISES WITH: All production departments and support departments, program team, project team, client, suppliers, subcontractors, and City/Government representatives on an as needed basis.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands listed below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to tour all vessels and work sites.
