JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB TITLE: Process Lead, SAP Production Planning
Be responsible for or participate in production planning and material replenishment related projects as needed to support business initiatives. Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain managers, plants, process owners and SAP users to identify new CI opportunities and execute agreed upon projects within supply chain. Responsible for on-site routine plant SAP training to ensure material standardization is attained. Support Supply Chain teams and manufacturing plants by being responsible for key, strategic continuous improvement projects with a focus on leveraging SAP. Responsible for SAP governance tool to utilize alignment with manufacturing methods. Troubleshoot key system process issues with the plant key users. Support SAP Expert User Groups by training, investigating SAP functionality and process improvement opportunities and recommending solutions. Responsible for extracting and discussing data from various reports to ensure material parameters are in alignment with SAP requirements. Own and launch infinite production planning process. Proactively seek and recommend appropriate SAP solutions within production planning processes to stay current with SAP technology and changes. Lead SAP IBP process improvements in conjunction with IT. This position requires domestic and international travel up to 25% of the average year.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field, and 5 years of professional experience in Production Planning, Demand Planning, and Procurement Planning. Additionally, a qualified applicant must have experience in the following skills: (1) Experience using SAP PPDS and APO, to execute demand planning, inventory and lean replenishment strategies and forecasting; (2) Experience implementing SAP system changes in coordination with manufacturing teams; (3) Experience analyzing SAP functionality and IT interface to explain and propose process improvements within the SAP operating system; and (4) Experience applying Project Management skills, specifically leading product line launches to ensure SAP PPDS, APO, and IBPA are executed accurately and operators are trained.
