We work directly with employees throughout the U.S. providing customized benefit communication and administrative services and support to our client’s HR Department and their individual employees.
The Account Service Manager (ASM) is responsible for case management, initial case setup and implementation, and client support. Additional responsibility includes new case training and supporting internal administration and benefit communication departments.
Location: Overland Park, KS - Must live in the Kansas City Metro area to be considered. This is a remote role but at times will need to be in the office based on business needs, training, and meetings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Implementation: Participate in implementation meetings with the client and carriers during both pre-and post-implementation of new accounts, acquisitions; and or product changes; Introduction of a new Ben Admin system, etc. Manage all aspects of assigned client enrollment, including formatting and uploading client data in multiple systems. Coordinate initial billing setup for voluntary insurance products with client payroll representative and insurance carrier. Maintain all communication materials for enrollments.
- Service And Support: Provide client-facing support. Respond timely to phone and email inquiries. Assist with claims troubleshooting. Attend client conference calls and bi-weekly internal team meetings, solicit agenda items, and maintain meeting minutes. Support BCInsourcing internal administration team and the benefit communications team, as needed. Support and assist the client’s Human Resources staff regarding issues concerning voluntary benefits. Act as an onsite representative for voluntary benefits at client Benefit Fairs, as requested. Act as a liaison between clients and carriers regarding voluntary enrollment. Monitors required tasks for assigned accounts to ensure timely completion.
- Data Management: Track client voluntary enrollment information and prepare monthly reports utilizing CRM. Ensure employee deductions are started and payment is remitted timely to the carrier. Eligibility files are loaded in all systems timely.
- New Case Implementation: Create and maintain the client's resource guide. Train all BCS employees on core and voluntary benefits of assigned new client cases during new implementation including creating new client resource guides and updating product changes.
- Client Tracking: Monitoring and evaluating each client call and entering in CRM an overall score of client interaction.
- Advanced Problem Solving: Developing effective and deductive methods for supporting and assisting the client’s Human Resources staff.
- Perform all functions, as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent and/or related work experience equivalency
- Professional and polished communication skills and demonstrated customer service experience.
- Excellent multitasking skills and highly detail-oriented.
- Experience with operating Microsoft Excel worksheets manually.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and operate with strict deadlines, remaining calm and professional.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels within the corporation.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree - completed or in the process of completing.
- Working knowledge of benefits insurance, including core and/or voluntary benefit products.
- Former experience in life-cycle account/case management.

Starting Annual Base Salary Range for This Position is $50,000 - $52,000
This Position Is Also Eligible For Monthly Incentive Pay Based On Meeting Performance Metrics Following 6 months of Active Employment
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. BCInsourcing takes into consideration a combination of the selected candidate’s skill set, experience, qualifications, licensure, and other job-related reasons as it relates to the position. At our Company, generally, an individual would not be hired at the top of the range of the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each posting.
