Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and have experience working with children in various settings. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs of clients and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in the implementation of behavior strategies across environments.
- Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members involved in client care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral health issues and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Stay current with developments in the field of ABA, special education, and behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to inform treatment decisions.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs.
- Previous experience in special education or related fields is a plus.
