JOB SUMMARY:
This position serves as support for the Administration and Human Resources Department as necessary or assigned. The position serves as an extension of the department(s), assisting with clerical tasks and administrative projects. Other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are limited to):
- Provides assistance to Administration and Human Resources:
- Answers phones and screens calls.
- Schedules appointments and/or meetings.
- Is professional and personable in all contacts with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Effectively communicates with diverse populations, both verbally and in writing & responsible for establishing and maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships with all staff members.
- Responsible for basic clerical support for the Human Resource functions:
- Responsible for daily filing of documents and maintaining personnel file
- May assist with new employee badges and replacements as necessary
- Assist with Performance Improvement project for the department.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies on hand for business purposes.
- Assists with policy production.
- Must be highly effective at problem solving techniques and have the utmost regard for human decency and fair treatment.
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding knowledge of all patient information, staff and hospital business.
- Completes various projects and other duties as needed in support of all Facilities functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or General education Degree (GED).
- Typing skills of 45 wpm
- Two years previous clerical experience preferred.
- Must be able to write legibly, clearly, and concisely.
- Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
